Hyperbaric Medicine Unit

A category 1 Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy chamber, run by QinetiQ in association with the Royal Navy's Institute of Naval Medicine and the Portsmouth NHS Trust. Offering decompression therapies for divers and treatment of medical conditions likely to benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy e.g. soft tissue injury and carbon monoxide poisoning. This walk in chamber can accommodate up to 7 patients who are cared for by specialist nursing staff.
