Will I get wet during the treatment?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been used to treat divers with the bends for many years. As a result, chamber operators often measure pressure in terms of the depth you would need to go in seawater to reach that pressure. Despite this, the chamber is filled with air and there is no water involved unless you ask for a drink - but you will only be given a cupful and you won’t be expected to swim or float during the treatment!
