Technology road mapping: We generate short, medium and long term technology or product road maps to inform our client’s strategic business development. We also use world-class technical and scientific expertise to provide credible technical feedback on future strategy.

Intellectual property and licensing: Our Commercial IP department supports the management of IP creation and licensing.

Design

User investigation: We observe users through video recording to understand the subtleties of person-product interaction. We also use simulation tools and environments to model complex human movement under controlled conditions.

Concept generation: We coordinate multidisciplinary teams to generate numerous innovative concepts and solutions. We build and extend our ideas through sketching and modelling to understand their true potential.

Functional models: Our laboratories enable us to create materials with unique properties and functions. Our prototype facilities allow us to develop and refine ideas efficiently, reducing development time and cost. When combined, these facilities enable us to provide a completely integrated product realisation capability.

Aesthetics and visualisation: Our product designers are experienced in all aspects of aesthetics, colour and styling. This is supported by sketching, rendering and digital production, allowing us to present realistic compelling visions of product concepts to clients and prospective users.

Engineering

CAD: Our CAD engineers provide state-of-the-art engineering design and evaluation to optimise product functionality, performance and mechanical integrity. Our structural design office also provides static and dynamic stress analysis to complement all stages of design engineering.

Rapid prototyping: We are able to quickly create full scale models and soft tooling using our stereo-lithography rapid prototype facility. This allows us to create highly detailed three-dimensional representations of new products which can be used for presentation or test purposes.

Manufacturing

Supply chain management: Our production and procurement teams allow us to provide support to the complete supply chain. We are also able to offer specific production advice for manufacturing processes, materials and logistics where required.

Innovative process design: Our technical and materials expertise allow us to work with manufacturers to create new or novel manufacturing processes. We are also able to take a more strategic advisory role between clients and a new supplier offering discreet competitor analysis before recommending and introducing potential partners.
