How do I find out about graduate or under-graduate opportunities in QinetiQ?
QinetiQ recruitment graduates into 'real' vacancies rather than onto a formal graduate training scheme. For this reason, we are able to accept speculative applications throughout the year, which we hold for up to 4 months. During this period, applicants are considered for graduate level vacancies as they arise. For further information on the graduate scheme and how to apply please visit our graduate website www.graduates.qinetiq.com.

There may also be a few specific graduate vacancies advertised on our main website www.qinetiq.com which you can apply directly for if they are of interest to you.

Does QinetiQ do work experience?
QinetiQ has a very limited number of work experience opportunities at our main sites (Boscombe Down, Farnborough and Malvern), and we work closely with Trident from Edexcel when opportunities arise.

How do I apply for vacation /Industrial Placement opportunities?
You can apply speculatively for these opportunities through the generic advertisements on the 'Job Search' section of this site, and we will contact you if we have a suitable opportunity available.

I can't upload my CV
CV's can be uploaded in Microsoft Word or rtf (Rich Text) format, and should not contain graphics or complicated tables. The document must be less than 1Mb for your upload to succeed.

I can't select my degree type or classification
If you have or are studying for an Honours Degree, select 'Honours Degree' as the degree type. You must then select either 1st, 2:1, 2:2 or 3rd as the degree classification in order to proceed with your application.

If you have a pass without honours or are studying for an Ordinary degree, or for a higher degree you must select 'N/A' as the degree classification in order to proceed with your application.

For higher degrees please select the relevant Post Grad qualification. You must select 'N/A' as the degree classification in order to proceed with your application.
