QinetiQ's Training Consultancy has over a decade of experience in developing systems and techniques for training command and management teams to develop, rehearse and test their decision- making skills in complex and time-critical situations.

Command teams benefit from training in high pressure situations The Training Consultancy is leading the research for the UK MoD into the future training capability which will exploit the opportunities of NEC to provide effective military capability in the future environment. The principal strands to this effort are the development of Joint Collective NEC Training Capability [JCNTC] and Network Enabled Training Capability (Land) [NETC(L)].

These contracts cover the research requirements to support the MoD vision of providing “anyone, any time, anywhere” collective training capabilities to meet the continually changing nature of military operations. JCNTC will provide Joint, Combined, and Multi-National training at all levels across the spectrum of complex operations.

Building upon a deep understanding of military requirements, the current and planned collective training capabilities, and the continuous monitoring of technological opportunities and challenges, the NETC(L) research programme supports the UK MoD's Director Equipment Capability (Ground Manoeuvre)’s training component of the Equipment Programme.
