QinetiQ provides a unique capability within the IS Business Management arena based on its involvement with the Smart Acquisition initiatives, the recent DLO reforms, Network Enabled Capability (NEC) and also its own evolution from research establishments to an executive agency and beyond.

We have a vast experience in all aspects of the acquisition process including preparation of requirements documents and business cases; generation of through life management plans; steering acquisitions through corporate approval processes; engagement, evaluation and selection of suppliers; and acceptance of systems into operation.

Our experience with developing IS strategies means we recognise and understand the importance of both the hard and soft issues associated with the successful implementation of such strategies. Our understanding of the business drivers, business processes, human factors and emerging technologies enable us to identify both business process and cultural changes necessary to support the successful introduction of new technology.
