IS Service Management

We are experienced in full post delivery support needs including user training, help desk and quick response maintenance services for those systems and services that we deliver. QinetiQ also provides user documentation and system maintenance/configuration documentation. Our capabilities include the ability to implement test environments and simulators so that systems can be thoroughly tested before delivery.

QinetiQ is very familiar with the drafting and negotiation of SLA’s, as we provide IS Managed Services in the form of Secure Web Hosting, Managed Intrusion Detection, GIS and meteorological data provision and air-time services to our MoD and other government customers. These in turn require SLA’s in place with our suppliers, provision of Help Desk Services, and agreed procedures and metrics for problem management and billing. We advise on how to achieve coherence across the supply chain, and how to improve consistency in service processes and service metrics used by the IPTs and their respective Service Providers. We are also involved in DCSA Service Management Strategy, requirements capture and implementation.
